How to Uninstall Discord on PC or Mac

Using Mac

Make sure that the discord is not running in the background. If the discard application is running in the background, then it may cause an error in the uninstall process.

If you see a resignation icon on the menu bar in the top-right corner of your screen, right-click on it, and click Quor Discord.

Open the Applications folder on your Mac. This folder contains all installed applications and programs on your computer.

You can find your Applications folder on the Dock, or open Finder and press ⇧ Shift+⌘ Command+A on your keyboard to open it.

Discard the apps in your Applications folder. The Discord app looks like a white gamepad icon in a blue circle.

Click and drag the disc app to the trash. Move the Drive app icon from your apps folder and leave it on your trash bin.

You can drag and drop any application on the Mac by dragging and dropping it on the trash.

Right-click on your trash bin. Find the trash bin icon on your dock, and right-click on it. This will list your options on a pop-up menu.

Click Empty Trash on the pop-up menu. This will permanently delete everything in your trash bin, and remove the disco app from your computer.

Using Windows

Make sure that the discord is not running in the background. If the discord application is running in the background, then it may cause an error in the uninstall process.

If you see a Discord icon on your taskbar in the lower-right corner of your screen, right-click on it, and click on the query discord.

Open your computer’s Start menu. To open the Start menu, click the Start button in the lower-left corner of your screen.

Type and search apps and features on the Start menu. The Applications and Features program will appear next to the gear icon at the top of your Start menu.

On earlier versions of Windows, you may have to open Add or Remove Programs instead of apps and features.

Click on Apps and Features on the Start menu. This will open up your settings window.

Click on this list area to search. This option is under title and features in the settings window. This will allow you to type and search for a program on your computer.

Type the discord in the search field. The discord app will appear below the search area.

Click on the discord app in search results. This will highlight the app in the list, and show your options.

Click the Uninstall button. This will remove the discord app, and delete it from your computer.

You must confirm your action in a new pop-up window.

Click Uninstall in the confirmation pop-up. This will confirm your action, and remove the Discord app from your computer.

If you are asked to confirm again, click Yes to uninstall.
