This eMinds CA teaches you how to create a new voice or voice chat channel on a disk server using Android. You must have administrator privileges on one server to create a channel.
Open the Discord app on your device. The disc icon looks like a blue circle with a white game controller.
Tap on the icon of three horizontal lines. This icon is located in the upper-left corner of your screen. This will open your navigation menu.
Alternatively, you can swipe from the left edge of your screen to the right to open this menu.
Tap on a server icon on the navigation panel. You will see a list of all your servers on the left side of your screen. Tap on the server that you want to use for your channel.
Find the “Text Channel” or “Voice Channel” title. These sections will list all text and voice chat channels on this server.
Tap the + icon next to TEXT CHANNELS or VOICE CHANNELS. This will open Create Channel page. This button will allow you to create a text or voice chat channel on this server.
You must be a server admin to create a channel. If you do not have administrator privileges, you will not see the “+” icon here.
Tap on the Channel Name field.
Enter a channel name. This will be the name of your new channel on this server.
Choose who can access your chat channel on this server. Under the heading “WHO CAN ACCESS THIS CHANNEL”, tap the box next to all those members and check that you want to add to your channel.
If you do not have any contacts on this server, then this option will appear as @everyone.
Tap on Save button. It looks like a white floppy disk icon in the lower-right corner of your screen. This will create your text or voice chat channel.
If you create a text channel, after tapping on the white floppy disk icon, on your screen, Disorder will automatically open its channel.
If you create a voice channel, after tapping on the white floppy disk icon, your navigation menu will open. Tap the name of your channel on the name of your channel to access the voice channel.
